My router is asus rt-ac68u When I am at another house that I signed into my plex, my server does not always show up. Dying light mac download. I have to remote access into my computer, go to server advanced settings, and keep pressing apply until it is accessible outside of my network. In this article, we are going to cover the basic VPN setup process on an AsusWRT router so that it can connect directly to ProtonVPN servers. First, you will have to access your Asus router control panel. By default, the address for it is 192.168.1.1. Please take this address. 192.168.1.100 is IP address of syslogd server. You need to restrict access to syslogd within your network (192.168.1.0/24) only. Configure the Router to logging message to a centralized loghost. You can open web configuration interface and type IP address of centralized loghost (192.168.1.100) and port 514. Save configuration and reboot router.
Asus Router Remote Management
I have an ASUS router setup with the OpenVPN server enabled. Using the .ovpn file I can connect the client from inside my LAN to the router without a problem. But from the outside I am unable to connect. I don't even get to see any messages in the log files about my connection attempt. So somehow it is like the connection is blocked. I am using xxxxx.asuscomm.com to resolve the IP address of my dynamic IP. And that seems to work just fine. Going to an online port scanner and having it scan my UDP ports it does show the openvpn port to be open for the outside world. In the log file of the failing client (windows) I see that the most basic connection attempt 'are you there' is not working. 24/11/2020, 11:48:34 Connecting to [xxxxx.asuscomm.com]:1194 (xx.xx.xx.xxx) via UDPv4

I reconfigured the server also to use a less obvious port number, but the result is the same. The IP address shown in the log is correct.
